Rimberio Construction has built and renovated homes across Chicago, the North Shore, and the western suburbs for more than 25 years. We are a second-generation family firm of about 45 people, and most of our work comes from clients we already know.

Our story

Two generations, one standard

Marco Rimberio started Rimberio Construction in 1999 with a pickup truck, two carpenters, and a simple rule: do the work as if the house were his own. The first jobs were porches, back stairs, and kitchen remodels on the Northwest Side, most of them within a few miles of the Belmont Avenue shop the company still occupies. Word traveled the way it does in Chicago neighborhoods, block by block, and the porches became gut renovations, then additions, then ground-up homes.

Daniel Rimberio grew up on those job sites, ran his first project at 24, and took over day-to-day leadership after fifteen years working alongside his father. The company he runs today employs about 45 people and self-performs its carpentry, concrete, and excavation rather than subcontracting the trades that decide a home’s quality. The rule has not changed. More than two thirds of our work comes from past clients and their referrals, and the average client relationship runs eleven years.

What we hold to

Four commitments on every project

The same standards apply whether we are pouring a foundation or building a ground-up home.

  • Safety

    Every project runs under a written safety plan, with weekly toolbox talks and a dedicated site supervisor on every job. Our crews go home in the same condition they arrived, and our record reflects that discipline.

  • Craft

    We self-perform carpentry, concrete, and excavation because quality is easier to build than to inspect. Our carpenters average twelve years with the firm, and their standard, not the calendar, decides when work is finished.

  • Transparency

    Clients see the same numbers we do. Budgets are open book, change orders are priced and signed before work proceeds, and every project gets a weekly written report covering cost, schedule, and decisions ahead.

  • Neighborhood respect

    We build on occupied blocks, and we act like it. Clean sites, quiet mornings, protected parkways, and a phone number neighbors can call. Many of our longest client relationships started next door.

Our people

Our own crews, on every job

Rimberio employs about 45 people, and most of the work on a Rimberio site is done by them. We self-perform carpentry, concrete, and excavation with our own crews rather than assembling a new team of subcontractors for each project. That continuity shows. Several of our foremen have been with the company for more than fifteen years, and two started under Marco in the early 2000s. When the same people build every project, the standard travels with them.
